See our humanity in a new light

Vector 1.png

No matter who we are, how we live, or what we believe, we all share a deep need and capacity for human connection and belonging. It’s at the core of our shared humanity — and baked into every human’s DNA.

A crisis of connection

Despite our desire for connection and belonging, more and more Americans are living in isolation, loneliness, anxiety, and fear. And our economic, political, and social systems keep pushing us further apart — eroding our faith in our institutions and each other.

A vision for the future

Across every generation, our ability to work together in common purpose has fueled our greatest achievements and safeguarded our progress in times of challenge and change. By taking the time to listen, learn, and understand each other first, we can see our humanity in a new light and write the next chapter of our human story together.

Our Role

Einhorn Collaborative works with a diverse range of cultural influencers, researchers, community leaders and funders to help Americans build stronger relationships, embrace our differences, and rediscover our shared humanity — so we can solve our most urgent challenges together.

What does Einhorn Collaborative focus on in its grantmaking?

To advance our mission, we focus our efforts in three interconnected, mutually reinforcing areas: Bonding: Developing our capacity to form and maintain healthy relationships with a focus on programs designed to establish positive, resilient bonds, and healthy relationships between babies and parents and other caregivers, during the most formative stages of early childhood. Bridging: Reinforcing our ability to understand ourselves, each other, and positively relate across difference with a focus on providing adolescents with experiences to develop lifelong skills of perspective-taking and bridge-building. Building: Elevating our collective story and helping Americans build belonging, find common ground, and take action together with practical tools that help people act and fuel deep and broad cultural change.

How do I apply for funding?

We proactively seek out diverse partners for collaboration with to advance our strategies, so we do not accept unsolicited funding proposals. We have found that this saves the precious time and resources of grant seekers.
